As an inspirational and motivational speaker, I am passionate . In 

My keynote speech, “Self-Expression as the Way to Authenticity”, explores how, despite being born with the ability and need to express ourselves authentically, many of us stop using our voice. I share three key strategies that have been effectively applied throughout my 20+ year career as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting children with communication difficulties. Finally, I demonstrate how these key strategies were effective and powerful in my personal journey of reconnecting to my truth and rediscovering my voice after a lifetime of voice repression. 

I will discuss the reasons for which many women stop using their voice, despite all of us being born with the ability and need to express ourselves authentically. I will also discuss how, through personal experience, as well as from my work with children who stutter as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I have discovered that self-expression can be used as a tool to reclaim our voice and authenticity through: 

1 - Finding our ‘Safe People’ 

2 – The exploration of safe ways to express ourselves

3 – The application of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)
