Meet The Team

Nathalie Cholette, M.Sc.S., B.A., Reg. CASLPO

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) & Founder | Orthophoniste et Fondatrice

Nathalie has been a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist since 1999, supporting children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings, including children’s treatment centres, schools, homes, community settings, virtual care, and private practice. A proud Franco-Ontarian, she provides services in both French and English and is committed to improving access to high-quality French-language speech-language services for Francophone families in the Greater Toronto Area.

Nathalie has particular interests in autism and neurodivergent communication, AAC, gestalt language development, early language development, speech sound disorders, and motor speech. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, relationship-centred, and evidence-informed. She recognizes that communication can take many forms and works to support each child’s authentic communication, autonomy, and individual way of interacting with the world.

With a background in psychology, Nathalie brings a broader understanding of child development, behaviour, relationships, and emotional well-being to her work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This perspective helps her look beyond a child’s communication challenges to better understand the whole child—their strengths, interests, sensory needs, relationships, and individual experiences. Her background in mindfulness further supports a thoughtful, responsive approach centred on connection, safety, and trust.

Throughout her career, Nathalie has developed extensive experience in assessment, therapy, consultation, parent coaching, and collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals. She believes that every individual has the right to be heard and understood and supports communication in all its forms, including speech, gestures, AAC, writing, and other meaningful ways of expressing oneself.

Nathalie is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
